Who, on the whole, do you find happier: children or adults?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 16, 2007:
I generally find children to be happier. Whether they realize it or not, children are the epitome of happiness. We all feel childlike, or even young again, when we are at our happiest. There is no greater joy, in my opinion, than the joy of a child, and we as humans should try to prolong that happiness for as long as possible.
